The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.
Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar to see search and filter options.
USPSA Match at the outdoor pistol range. 7:00am - 3:00pm.
IBS Hunter rifle targets are shot at 100,200,and 300 yards. Rifles are broken up into 3 classes sporter, varmint, and unlimited. Sporters are factory produced rifles weighing 9 pounds or less. Varmint rifles are factory produced weighing between 9 and 12 pounds. Both sporter and varmint rifles can have reworked triggers and after market barrels but may not have custom actions. Unlimited class rifles are rifles over 12 pounds or any rifle having a custom action regardless of weight.You may shoot a lower class rifle in a higher class if you wish. You will shoot 30 rounds for score, 10 at each distance, plus as many sighters as you want. Cost is $10 for one gun and $15 to shoot two.
ARA factory and unlimited class targets will be placed at 50 yards. Our 10-event schedule is posted on the ARA website. (www.americanrimfire.com) and listed below. Please read and understand the 2024 rules on the ARA website for the two different classes. The rules for factory class rifles are very specific.
Through the ARA format you will be ranked by club, state and nationally.
The events will be limited to 20 shooters for our Tuesday evening shoots and 40 shooters for our weekend shoots. Pre-registration would be very much appreciated. You can pre-register by contacting Jim (712-203-1597) or Danny (712-223-8805). There will be shooters from outside our club coming in to shoot these events. We prefer not to run out of room for our own club members to participate so early pre-registering will be important. First come first serve.
Shooting bench assignments will be 45 minutes before the start times listed below. This will give shooters time to set up their bench, flags, rests etc. Our goal is to start shooting promptly at start time.
4 card event starts at 5:00 pm
6 card event starts at 9:00 am
